I think this is definitely your best photo on this blog so far. The composition was done nicely (i.e., not placing the cabin directly in the middle). The exposure adds a nice effect. I don't know if it was intensional or not, but it is a little over-exposed, which on this shot works well. It's really washed-out or bright. It gives you the sense that the reason why it was abandoned was because it was too hot and too dry to farm. The sepia color also gives it an aged appearance-- a timelessness to it. Good job.
istockphoto told me that this was not focused. I've looked at it several times, and can't figure out what they're talking about. It looks focused just fine to me. Oh well.
